Pleasure Point is quite unique. Stroll along the cliff edge and plop yourself on a bench to view surfers and sunbathers below. The erosion-protecting seawall which was constructed several years ago blends into the environment in what is some of the most rapidly eroding coastline Over in the state of California. For decades Pleasure Point has supported the local surf culture long after Santa Cruz's westside ousted many of its surfer inhabitants, largely due to affordability. Our late Jack O'Neill's house flanks the cliff edge, too.
